nice and absolutely amazing hotel with awesome view to the lake. exceptionally comfortable bed, beautiful and comfy room with an electronic key card, tea/coffee making equipment and tv. a lot of yummy food for meals.

This place is very clean and modern, with a balcony, and the staff is very helpful. The location is amazing, just a 10-minute walk to downtown.

This place was perfect for us, totally recommend. The hotel was incredibly beautiful and nice, truly enjoyed mountain view from our suite. The room we had included a safe, cable TV, and a mini-fridge-bar. Very good breakfast and other services were excellent! It was in a very central location, to safari on time.

The location is in close proximity to the Sri Lanka Train Museum and a beautiful lake, allowing for easy exploration of the area.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, modern, and spacious, with a lovely balcony to relax on. The hotel facilities, including the pool, were perfect for a quick dip and relaxation. The staff was exceptional, helping us with extra seats by the pool and towels. They even organized parking and a driver for us to explore the beautiful surroundings, including mountains and safaris. The breakfast served here was the best we've had in Sri Lanka, and we can't stop talking about it.

Some design faults and issues were noticed during the stay. For instance, the toilet with a clear window looking out onto the street was quite odd.

My stay at the Grand Serendib Hotel was absolutely delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the modern and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom was immaculate, with a strong rainfall shower that was a joy to use. In the mornings, I enjoyed a diverse and tasty breakfast with a breathtaking view of Kandy. The hotel also had a small pool, although I didn't have a chance to try it. The overall service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. I must also mention the infinity pool, which provided a stunning backdrop and was the perfect place to relax. The hotel's location was great, just a short walk from the city center but still away from the hustle and bustle. While there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the average food quality and the need to take a tuk-tuk to get around, these were easily outweighed by the hotel's many positive attributes. I highly recommend the Grand Serendib Hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Kandy.

The hotel staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. the breakfast options are satisfying, with a choice between English and Sri Lankan breakfast. the AC works well, there are English channels, and the wifi is reliable. the hotel also allowed us an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. the view from the hotel is absolutely amazing.
